"If they right the ship in this last month, we won't be talking about November for very long."

If the Packers' 2015 journey was a boat ride, we might be describing November as a month where the team endured a hurricane in the open seas after two months of smooth sailing.

"November, thank goodness it's the last day...it was not a good month, 1-4. Things can only be better, you would think, in December and January, where it matters most," explained 620WTMJ Packers Preview host and Time Warner Cable Sportschannel's Dennis Krause on "Wisconsin's Afternoon News" Monday.

"They have the power to write the end of this story."

The problem: The momentum swing is currently downward, with the Packers' performance in November as one that "befuddled" Krause and so many other observers.

"They miss him tremendously. We knew they'd miss him, be we never knew how much," said Krause.

"Do they have someone who can get over the top on defenses? The answer so far has been no."

That no includes the much baleyhooed and coveted (by fans) Jeff Janis. Inside 1265 Lombardi Avenue, the attitude seems different.

"Within the team, they don't have the level of trust to put (Jeff Janis) out there on a regular basis."

Additionally, teams realize that the others - Randall Cobb and the recently-disappointing Davante Adams - aren't necessarily big play threats, so defenses don't have to guard the big play as .
