The WIAA Regional Softball Finals concluded on Friday with teams advancing to the Sectional round.
In Division 1, No. 2 Bay Port held off No. 7 Kimberly with a 3-1 victory. With two on and two out, Pirates senior infielder Madison Jorgenson hit a ground ball to left field scoring Allyson Gajeski and Sydney Johnson. Bay Port will face No. 3 Pulaski in the Sectional Semifinals.
In Division 2, No. 4 Shawano upset No. 1 Seymour, 13-10 in eight innings.
In Division 3, No. 3 Southern Door's offense exploded against No. 2 Chilton, the Eagles won 10-0 in five innings.
The WIAA Sectional Semifinals begin Tuesday, May 30 in all five divisions.
