A Sheboygan County court found Wednesday that there is probable cause that Katlyn Kinateder killed her two year old son, and she will stand trial for the crime.

Kineteder is accused of suffocating her son earlier this month and hiding his body in a closet in her Sheboygan Falls apartment.

A Sheboygan Falls police officer testified at her preliminary hearing that Kinateder told investigators she killed her son because "the voices told her that he couldn't live anymore."

An autopsy found Kinateder's son died from suffocation. The officer testified that Kinateder told police she put a plastic bag over her son's head.

Kinateder will stand trial on charges of first degree intentional homicide, and move/hide/bury corpse of a child in the death of her two year old son.

Sheboygan County District Attorney Joe DeCecco told reporters he believes Kinateder will plead not guilty by means of mental disease or defect. A psychiatric professional would have to evaluate her and determine if she suffered from a mental illness while allegedly committing the crime, and that the illness would prevent her from knowing right from wrong.

She will be back in court for her arraignment on August 29th.
