The man killed in a Waushara County crash Friday has been identified.
Scott Meyer, 54, of St. Francis was found outside of a burning vehicle in a Town of Dakota corn field.
Around 9:23 p.m., Waushara County's Sheriff's deputies were called to a one vehicle crash on State Road 21 by County Road Y. The vehicle was on fire, deputies said.
Meyer's body was found outside the vehicle on the ground, according to deputies. Witnesses told deputies he was trying to get out of the vehicle.
The is the sixth traffic fatality in Waushara County this year, the sheriff's office said.
