Six people were hurt Wednesday after a car and a bus crashed into each other.
Oshkosh Police say it happened on the corner of New York Avenue and Hazel Street just before 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.
They say an 80 year old woman was driving her car east on New York Avenue when she failed to stop for the stop sign at Hazel Street. That's when officers say her car was hit by an Oshkosh Go Transit Bus heading south on Hazel Street.
Police say five people on the bus were injured, but not hospitalized. They say the elderly woman driving the car was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The intersection of New York and Hazel was shut down for a few hours while officer investigated the crash.
