Authorities in Door County on Wednesday found the body of a missing kayaker near Peninsula State Park.
The kayaker has been identified as 20-year-old Joseph D. Quagliano, from Salem, Wis., according to a news release.
Quagliano was not wearing a personal flotation device, according to the news release.
Authorities found his body about 100 yards from Horseshoe Island; divers were en route to the location where Quagliano's kayak was initially found when crews saw his body, the news release said.
The search was launched after Quagliano did not return from a day of kayaking on Saturday.
