Manitowoc Police are investigating a stabbing that happened on the city's west side.
Police were called to a home in the 4200 block of Broadway Street at 10:49 p.m. Tuesday for a disturbance between a married couple.
Officers say that an argument between the husband and wife escalated into a physical fight.
According to police a 57-year-old man had been stabbed in the hand by his 58-year-old wife, who was holding a steak knife.
The man was treated and released from a local hospital.
The woman is being held in the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of injury by negligent use of a dangerous weapon, substantial battery, and two counts of bail jumping.
The incident is still under investigation and anyone with information should contact Manitowoc Police.
