OSHKOSH, Wis.- The Oshkosh Police are investigating an early morning shooting.

The Oshkosh Police Department says a 42 year-old man was was shot in the chest after a struggle outside Thundera Multimedia in the 700 block of Oregon St.

"Well it's going to be hard to get any work done today, we're all pretty much in shock around here," said Thundera Multimedia president, Mark Salzwedel.

Police say the suspect ran from the area after the shooting. Police did not find the suspect after canvassing the area.

"We're unsure why the suspect was there," said Oshkosh Police Department officer Joseph Nichols.

Oshkosh Police say they believe this incident is an isolated incident.  There were no security cameras in the area so police have limited information to go on.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'10"-6' who was wearing a hoodie and a face covering.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the chest.
