GREEN BAY - No one was hurt in a semi trailer fire in Green Bay Wednesday.
Officials were called around 2:40 a.m. for a semi trailer on fire near the corner of Mathers and North Broadway Street.
Green Bay Metro Battalion Fire Chief, Dave Kolz says the 53 ft. semi trailer was filled with bundles of recycled cardboard.
"Ever so often we get these trailers that somehow start on fire. It's the same process every time, we open the doors, put the fire out and start pulling out the bundles and putting them out. They'll smolder and then we tear them apart." said Kolz.
It's unknown what caused the fire.
