A member of the 90s hip-hop group Digital Underground found himself behind bars in Wisconsin earlier this month.

Rice Lake police arrested Gregory Jacobs, 53, of San Francisco, CA on June 13.

Jacobs also goes by the stage name Shock G and "Humpty Hump," and was one of the founders of Digital Underground.

The group gained national fame for the song "The Humpty Dance," which was released in 1990. Billboard's website said the song peaked at number 11 on the pop chart and number seven on the R&B chart.

Jacobs was taken to the Barron County Jail and booked on suspicion of drug paraphernalia possession. He was in jail for a little more than two hours, then posted $100 cash and was released, Barron County Jail Captain Tim Evenson said.

Aquafest's website shows that Shock G of Digital Underground was a special guest star at Naughty by Nature's June 10 performance.

Captain Tracy Hom said that an officer pulled a vehicle over around 2 a.m. June 13 because the license plate was listed to an unlicensed driver.

Jacobs was driving the vehicle and the owner of the vehicle was the lone passenger, officers said. Hom said drug paraphernalia was inside the vehicle, but would not elaborate on exactly what officers found. He did not know why Jacobs was in the area more than two days after the show.
