Justin Posey faced a judge in Appleton today for his initial appearance. Posey turned himself in after seeing his picture on television and in social media, taken by surveillance cameras. He is believed to be responsible for a series of armed robberies in the Fox Valley. According to the criminal complaint, Posey told police that he had been under stress from medical bills, and other debt. He also admitted to throwing a gun, allegedly used in the robberies into a river. His bail was set at 100 thousand dollars.
