Halloween came a little early for kids in Algoma Saturday.

It's the 11th year for the annual Halloween Walk giving kids a safe space to celebrate the holiday.

Kids got to dress up, play in bounce houses and of course eat candy.

Organizers say 300 kids showed up Saturday along with their parents and the event just keeps getting bigger.

"It is an amazing feeling, it's awesome when you are sitting there at the front table and you get a family that walks in and they see Dory and Nemo for the first time and they just giggle and they can't wait to go give them a high five or they're dressed up as Batman and then they get to go see Batman," said Jennifer Massey, organizer.

The walk is open tomorrow from 10 to 3 at Algoma High School.

All of the money stays in the community.
