Update May 2, 2016:

Green Bay police confirm they have a person in custody for at least three home invasions on Green Bay's east side,

Even so, neighbors said they are concerned about what happened.

"You'd be laying there and someone would be looking at you that's not supposed to be in your house?" said neighbor Jean Myers. "That'd be really freaky."

That's a common feeling in the neighborhood.

"Concerned, yes, because I work at night and come home at night," said Penny Hernandez.

Green Bay police said the suspect came in through unlocked doors at night. They're reminding people to lock doors and windows, keep a light on, and call police if they see anything suspicious.

Some neighbors aren't surprised by the news.

"Actually no because I'm kind of immune to it," said Myers. "This is the neighborhood that we live in."

Nonetheless, many said they're still uneasy about something like that happening in their own backyard.

They have detained one "person of interest" who fits the suspect description. Detectives are conducting interviews with that person.
