The Kaukauna Fire Department responded to a garage fire on Sunday afternoon on 323 Taylor St.
They were able to extinguish the fire. Crews were on scene for about an hour extinguishing hot sports and trying to determine the cause. Two structures nearby were also affected. The department says nobody was inside the garage at the time the fire started.
The cause was determined to be battery packs for remote controlled cars.
The estimated damages to the property is $35,000.
