Appleton police officers are looking for a male experiencing mental health issues, who may have a knife in his possession and has fled on foot.
Columbus Elementary, Central High School and St. Paul Lutheran School in Appleton have gone into a temporary lockdown for the welfare issue in the area.
Appleton Police have multiple squads in the area attempting to locate the male and are asking the public to avoid the area as they search.
Appleton K9 officers will conduct a track in the area in an attempt to locate the subject.
