Now that the CDC has made the official recommendation that everyone wear cloth face coverings in public spaces where social distancing isn’t possible, and some states and cities have even made them mandatory in certain situations, the need for masks is more widespread than ever.
Today, Disney has gotten in on the mask game, releasing a collection of cloth masks that aren’t just adorable, they support a great cause.
ShopDisney is selling sets of four reusable cloth face masks themed with favorite Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters, and they are donating all profits up to $1 million from the sale of the masks toMedShare, a nonprofit that provides medical supplies and equipment to those in need. Even better, Disney is also donating one million cloth face masks, which will be distributed by MedShare, to children and families in underserved communities throughout the U.S.
“Disney’s donations will make a tremendous impact in the communities we serve,” Charles Redding, CEO and president of MedShare, said in a statement published on the Disney Parks Blog. “Their contribution of one million Disney cloth face masks will be provided to families in underserved communities and organizations working to limit the spread of COVID-19, while their monetary donation will be used to support the medical community’s ongoing efforts to provide lifesaving care to those who need it most.”
The masks, sold in packs of four for $19.99, come in three different sizes and six adorable styles.
The non-surgical, non-industrial grade masks are available for pre-order today and the first ones are expected to be available on June 29, 2020. Yours may take longer to ship; at press time, the site says that orders made now are expected on July 15.
If you want to snag a set for yourself or your kids, don’t delay. Styles and sizes are selling out quickly! There’s a sizing guide on the page if you’re not sure whether you’re a small, medium or large.
Disguise Yourself As Your Favorite Character
My favorite set is the collection featuring just the mouths of Winnie the Pooh, Stitch, Mickey Mouse, and Marie. Even if you’re having a bad day and quarantine’s got you down, no one will know the difference when you’re rocking a giant Winnie the Pooh-style smile.
From classic Mickey and Minnie Mouse to a Star Wars collection featuring everyone’s favorite, The Child (aka Baby Yoda) these styles should make it easier to get kids over age 4 on board with wearing a mask and add some cheer to help offset the sobering reason we’re all wearing them.
More Disney Magic To Help You Through The Crisis

We can’t get enough of all the copycat recipes they are sharing so we can make our favorite Disney snacks and treats like Dole Whip, Churro Bites, Mickey Beignets, Cookie Fries, Grilled Cheese, and even their famous Monte Cristo sandwich.
What are you doing to keep the Disney magic alive at your house?
