GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Misfit Mutts Dog Rescue's goal is to save as many vulnerable, mistreated, unwanted and abandoned dogs from the southern region of our country. The co-founders are a group of passionate women, who even during a pandemic, haven't wavered their determination to help dogs in need.
Their goals can come to life thanks to volunteers, donations and funds raised by the community. Founding members say without the community's support they would not be able help these dogs and puppies find forever homes.
Co-founder, Lindsey Szarzynski, says that's why when La Java Roasting House wanted to get involved, they were humbled for the opportunity to raise money and spread the word about their mission.
La Java has introduced 8 different coffee blends to choose from that 50% off the profit will go towards Misfit Mutts Dog Rescue. The coffee can be pre-ordered online and picked up in store at the La Java Roasting House location on Velp Avenue in Green Bay.
