GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Captain's Walk Winery is known for their wine, but also for the intimate and cozy setting at their location in the 300 block of Adams street.
Unfortunately with coronavirus and the safer at home order, Captain's Walk Winery has had to close its doors, but are still able to mail and offer local pick up.
The Winery introduced virtual wine tastings on its Facebook account. The next virtual tasting is May 29th at 6 p.m. on their Facebook. Be sure to 'like' and set an alarm so you don't miss out! This month's tasting will also feature some cheeses with the wine. Each tasting comes with six bottles of three different wines. One for the tasting and another to enjoy, along with three cheeses.
Donna McVey, the Assistant Winery Manager and Events Coordinator with Captain's Walk Winery says the virtual tastings have done really well since they also have club members all over the United States and they can join in as well.
McVey says the tastings have been well received and they are looking into continuing them even after restrictions and the safer at home order end.
