Experts at Lowney's Landscaping Center in Appleton tell their customers that having nice lawn furniture helps your backyard look and feel great, but worrying about your furniture through the seasons can create a headache.

Many people move around their outdoor furniture based on the different seasons, but that's not necessary.

Lowney's Landscaping Center Consultant Brad Baker is sharing his expertise on how people should decide which furniture to choose.

Baker said, "Well, the quality. These tables are going to last you a lifetime. They're Amish-crafted. Their quality is amazing, and there's no maintenance needed for it. You don't need to stain it. You can leave it out, it won't fade. Not only is there a lot of variety in the styles of furniture you can get, but there's also a very large selection of color choices."

NBC 26 Today Meteorologist Lauren Larsen asked whether the lifetime guarantee is real or whether it's a gimmick.

"It comes with a lifetime warranty and, I mean a lifetime. It doesn't fade, it, it doesn't rust, there's it's made with stainless steel and, it's just a ton of detail, put into these items," Baker said.

Moving outdoor items can be difficult too, because they're sometimes heavier than they look.

"Durability is part of it. But also, the material itself is really heavy, and its high density. The furniture is made of recycled poly. You can buy cheap furniture that will blow around in a windstorm. This stuff isn't going to move. It also comes fully assembled, and Lowney’s can deliver to your place," Baker said.

Even though style trends change every year, Baker says that hasn't really been the case this season with outdoor furniture.

"There's no trend this year. I think we're selling more sets than anything where people come in and buy a bundle with," Baker said.

Even though the cost of everything is increasing for consumers, Baker says paying more does pay off.

"Because in the long run, you're not you're not really spending a lot more money. You're not going to buy another set every five years if you don't want. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for," Baker said.
