We’re starting the workweek with comfortable temperatures and mostly sunny skies. Morning temperatures are in the mid to upper 40s, with some locations in northern Wisconsin dipping into the upper 30s. Mostly sunny skies will help temperatures warm quickly this morning, with afternoon highs reaching the mid to upper 70s, right around average for this time of year. A few more clouds will build in late today, but overall, it will be a fantastic start to the workweek.
After a nice start to the week, we’ll have multiple chances for some much-needed rain. Tuesday starts off dry and pleasant, but a stray shower could develop by Tuesday afternoon. Rain chances increase Tuesday evening and Tuesday night as scattered showers and thunderstorms move through the area.
More scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Wednesday afternoon. A couple of thunderstorms could become strong, but at this time, severe weather is not expected. We’ll have another chance for rain this weekend as well.
After a comfortable start to the week, temperatures and humidity will gradually increase. Dew points climb through the week, and highs will remain around 80 degrees for the rest of the week.
