Wisconsin native Steve Stricker named Ryder Cup captain

Steve Stricker has been announced as the 2020 U.S. Ryder Cup captain. The announcement came in a news conference Wednesday at Fiserv Forum.
Stricker, 51, is a Wisconsin native and has been on the Ryder Cup teams in 2008, 2010 and 2012.
Stricker has 12 PGA Tour wins and three PGA Tour Champions victories.
The 43rd Ryder Cup will be held at Whistling Straits in Kohler from Sept. 22-27, 2020.
