WFCA All-Star Game brings high school football rivals together

Posted

For many, it was the last chance to suit up as a high school football player. Only this time, standing on the same sidelines as former foes at the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star game.

"We all exchanged decals so it was great to get a piece of every team on my helmet so I can represent them all, not just myself," former Little Chute wide receiver Kyle Hietpas said. Hietpas will play for the University of North Dakota in the fall but before he goes, he had a chance to share the field with those he battled against the past four years.

"Through the whole week, it's amazing how much you grow as a team," former Southern Door defensive back Nick LeCaptain said. "It was a really great experience and I'm really happy I decided to play."
