Bay Port senior Cole Van Lanen enters this weekend hoping to go out on top at the WIAA State Track & Field Championships. Last year, Cole took home gold in both the discus and shot put and he's the favorite to repeat. Van Lanen even practiced in wet conditions to ensure he's ready for everything. After so much success, Van Lanen is bittersweet about his final high school competition, but ready to leave his legacy.
