Last year's Phoenix basketball team ended a 20 year NCAA Tournament drought and won the Horizon League Championship. Today they were recognized at the Resch.
The players received their championship rings and the Horizon League Championship and NCAA tourney banners were raised.
The Phoenix hosted Central Michigan and led 45-41 at the half. But the second half belonged to Central Michigan. They hit 14 three pointers in the game, and UWGB fell 89-77, the final.
