The UW-Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball squad has now hoisted the Horizon League tournament trophy in seven of its last eight trips to the title game.
The Phoenix's 62-44 win over third-seeded Wright State Tuesday secured their 16th Horizon League tournament crown and an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Green Bay will make its fourth-straight appearance in the tournament.
Per usual, the two Phoenix seniors led the way in Tuesday's victory: Allie LeClaire put up 24 points and 8 rebounds while Jessica Lindstrom notched 12 points and 14 rebounds.
