Entering Thursday afternoons division 3 boys State semifinal game Xavier and Ripon were a combined 52-0. When the final horn sounded it was the Hawks of Xavier with a 81-74 advantage that had earned the right to move on to the championship game.
Sam Ferris led the way for Xavier with 25 points on the night, Ripon's Eddie Muench had 26 in the losing effort.
Xavier will face Prescott Saturday in the division 3 championship game.
