The "Skate City Speed Team" is heading back to the USA Roller Sports nationals this weekend to compete against the best in the country.
Skate City has produced national title winners before, including Cassie Gerdin, the defending Juvenile Girls Champion.
Gerdin is excited to return to national competition this year though she does have some concerns, she said "I'm pretty nervous now because I moved up a division, but I think it's going to go well because I'll be racing one of my teammates."
There are 12 athletes between the ages of 10-18 that will represent Wisconsin and Skate City Speed Team at the national event in Lincoln Nebraska. The competition runs from July 15th through the 22nd.
