Brewers fans, you might want to circle the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers weekend series with the Kane County Cougars on your calendars.
Ryan Braun and Jonathan Villar will both go on minor league rehab assignment with the T-Rats Thursday. Manager Craig Counsell announced the news Wednesday.
Braun has been on the disabled list since late May with a calf injury, while Villar has been battling a lower back injury.
The hope is that both will be able to rejoin the Brewers in Cincinnati on Tuesday if all goes well at Fox Cities Stadium.
