GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Ripon men's basketball team won their first Midwest Conference title since the 2001-2002 season by beating Lake Forest 81-72 on Saturday at the Kress.
Midwest Conference Player of the Year, Ty Sabin scored 31 points for the Red Hawks and broke Ripon's career three point record, which was set 25 years ago by Brad Alberts.
With the victory, Ripon receives an automatic bid to the D3 NCAA tournament.
