A Lombardi Packer and two members of the '96 championship team were named the best at their position in Super Bowl history.

Three Packers were chosen to the Super Bowl 50 Golden Team.

Right tackle Forrest Gregg anchored the offensive line that protected quarterback Bart Starr as he won two Super Bowl MVP's in the first two contests. Gregg was named at offensive tackle with Art Shell.

Defensive end Reggie White sacked New England Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe three times in the second half of Super Bowl XXXI.  He was named at defensive end along with Charles Haley.

Desmond Howard became the first special teams player to be named Super Bowl MVP for his performance in Super Bowl XXXI, including the kickoff return touchdown that clinched a 35-21 win over New England. He was named at that position.
