It was the sports world's version of the Oscars or the Grammys as athletes got to dress up, walk the red carpet and collect awards.

A few Green Bay Packers won awards at this year's ESPY's in Los Angeles.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers ended up being named the NFL player of the year.

Rodgers also won best play of the year with teammate Jarrod Cook. They won the award for their spectacular pass and catch along the sideline, to set up the game-winning field goal, of this past year's divisional playoffs in Dallas.

Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson also won an ESPY Wednesday night for the comeback player of the year. Nelson missed the entire 2015 season with a knee injury, then played every game in 2016 making 97 receptions for 1,257 yards and 14 touchdowns.
