Rodgers finishes preseason play in short order

Posted

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers played two drives in Saturday's preseason game against the Denver Broncos. Number 12 went three for five with 12 yards. His second drive ended with a 52 field goal by Mason Crosby.

The offensive line held well without starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga though Rodgers was sacked once when Von Miller spun off Jason Spriggs and smothered the quarterback. Spriggs also made a tremendous pass block earlier in the game allowing Rodgers time to escape the pocket and improvise.

It's unlikely that Rodgers will play in next week's final preseason game against the L.A. Rams.
