The Giants opened free agency by loading up on players they hope will help their defense find its footing after several rough years on that side of the ball.
They could continue on that front in the draft, but landing players like Olivier Vernon, Damon Harrison and Janoris Jenkins could also make it easier to spend an early pick to round out the offense. There are a couple of holes to fill on the offensive line and the departure of Rueben Randle left the team a little short at wide receiver.
