GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- The Packers have activated rookie quarterback Jordan Love from the Reserve/COVID-19 list. He will be eligible to return to team activities Wednesday.

Love was added to the list last week as a "close contact" of rookie ILB Krys Barnes, who is his former high school teammate and roommate in Green Bay.

The Packers have two players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list: Barnes and A.J. Dillon, who both tested positive for the coronavirus last week.

The NFL reported 56 new positive tests last week, more than double the total from the previous week.
