Packers defensive tackle Mike Daniels will return from a hip injury this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, he said Friday.
The injury knocked Daniels out of the first quarter in Week 2's contest at Atlanta and has kept him off the field since. He said "I still have no idea what happened" to initially sustain the injury.
"I felt good at practice running around. I felt stronger, so I'm ready to roll," Daniels said. "Excited to get back out there. It's been hard watching, you know what I'm saying?"
Daniels had a dominant performance in the season opener against the Seahawks, racking up seven tackles, four quarterback hits, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble. In 2016, Daniels had 33 tackles and four sacks.
