Kuhn: Packers have 'work cut out for us'

A three-game losing streak. An opponent with a five-game winning streak.

Green Bay Packers fullback John Kuhn admits the task of preparing for and beating the 7-2 Minnesota Vikings will not be easy.

"We've got our work cut out for us, coming off three subpar games," said Kuhn on 620WTMJ's "Tauscher and Kuhn" Tuesday.

"This is going to be a blue-collar, bring your lunch pail to work week."

The Packers have hard work ahead of them to correct three weeks of mistakes that led to losses at Denver, at Carolina and the embarrassing loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday, 18-16.

In Kuhn's eyes, the issue is not as much strategy as it is simple execution.

"The simplest part of football is lining up against the guy across from you and beating him throughout the course of 60 minutes. We did not do that across the board, 11 on 11, win our one-on-one's enough to win the game," said Kuhn.

"We get a wide receiver on a d-back, we need to make those plays. We get a linebacker in the hole (with) a running back, we need to beat that guy and create an explosive run."
