High school football returns to to the Fox Valley region on Thursday night. While most of the players might not realize it yet, the memories they make out on the gridiron now will still be the ones they talk about for years to come.

Even members of the Green Bay Packers still reminisce about their glory days in high school.

"The funnest time to play football is in high school," Packers cornerback Davon House said. "There is no other bond like the high school locker room. Don't get me wrong, this is fun too, but the high school bond is something special."

"High school football is awesome," Packers head coach Mike McCarthy added. "You talk about teamwork, work ethic, commitment, trust, loyalty, all of those things are so important to have in a healthy relationship as an adult and you're able to learn that through the game of football."

Six games in the Fox Valley region kick off Thursday night and the remaining 42 games in week one will play on Friday.
