It's a unique NFL training camp tradition that's gone on for generations: a Packers player grabs a kids' bike from the crowd and rides it over to practice from Lambeau Field.
The first picture documenting the Packers bike riding tradition was taken almost 60 years ago during the Lombardi era.
These days, the tradition has turned into a major event. On Thursday morning, hundreds of kids showed up to Lambeau to offer their bikes to players.
"We did it last year so it's kind of the same thing, but this year I got a kind of famous person, people were asking for his autograph and stuff," said one child.
Kids from Ohio, Indiana and even Minnesota came to camp Friday and said they're Packers fans now...and all it took was a bike ride from a Packers player they didn't know yet.
The tradition continues throughout training camp.
