After facing Aaron Rodgers for nine years, the Chicago Bears have perhaps realized that having an elite quarterback, like Rodgers, is vital to their success in the NFL.
The Bears stunned their fans and the NFL when they traded a 3rd and 4th round pick in this draft, along with a 3rd round pick in next years draft, all for the right to move up one spot in order to select Trubisky.

Trubisky, started only 13 games in college. He is the highest quarterback drafted by Chicago, since 2003, when the bears selected Rex Grossman.
