The Packers offensive line took a hit on Wednesday when starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga suffered a leg injury.

Bulaga is the latest victim of the preseason injury bug, but the Packers continue to use a 'next man up' mentality. When one guy gets hurt, opportunity knocks for another.

"You need to be ready for the next play so put your hard hat on and come to work and do what you have to do," second year tackle Kyle Murphy said. Both Murphy and Jason Spriggs took reps with the first-team offense in place of Bulaga.

"Between me and Murph, we'll see," Spriggs said. "If someone has to go in for him, it is what it is."

Spriggs struggled with both pass and run protection in Saturday's preseason win against the Redskins but head coach Mike McCarthy believes his mistakes were due to missed cues and not his physical ability.

"He'll bounce back, I feel strongly about that, McCarthy said. "Don't overreact to mental errors."
