He's returned home to Green Bay for a happy reunion, and he did it America's national television spotlight.
Now, Brett Favre will discuss that and more on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, six nights after having his retired number placed on Lambeau Field's north facade.
Until July's Packers Hall of Fame ceremony, Favre had not been inside Lambeau Field as a member of the Packers "family" since January 2008.
Months later, he and the Packers had an emotional separation, involving a trade to the New York Jets and his eventual two years with a Packers rival, the Minnesota Vikings.
After seven years, they came together for two magical evenings including the nationally-televised number retirement ceremony, where he also shared a special embrace with former Packers legend Bart Starr, who has been battling numerous health issues.
Watch Favre (probably) discuss those subjects and a lot more with Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show at 10:35 p.m. CT on TODAY'S TMJ4 and NBC26.
