Brett Favre, Jerry Kramer share stories during Bart Starr Chalk Talk

Several Packers legends were back in Green Bay Monday ahead of the Packers vs. Lions games for a special Bart Starr Chalk Talk event at the KI Convention Center.

Brett Favre and Jerry Kramer both were in attendance during the event, along with San Francisco 49ers legend Steve Young.

Kramer and filmmaker Michael Merideth, son of former Cowboys quarterback Don Merideth, talked about the Ice Bowl and events leading up to Super Bowl II in front of a room of fans.

Afterwards, Favre and Young took the stage for the Bart Starr Chalk Talk, discussing their NFL careers and this year's Green Bay Packers team. The event was emceed by Bart Starr, Jr.

Favre reflected on how he'd feel about suiting up for a game now.

"I thought about it today," he explained. "We got off the plane, we're coming over and I said 'I wonder if I can complete just one pass.'"

"I'm sure you could," Young replied.

The event featured a special tribute to the 50th anniversary of Super Bowl II.

The majority of the proceeds went to charities important to Bart and Cherry Starr through their foundation. The Bart and Cherry Starr Foundation was established this year to continue the legacy of raising awareness and support for important causes near to their heart, including children and youth services.
