Packers fans had to deal with plenty of retirement questions with the previous Green Bay quarterback, but it looks like Aaron Rodgers is putting those issues to bed early.
Sunday marked 12 years since the Packers selected Rodgers in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft, and the Green Bay Twitter account celebrated with a tweet. Rodgers, 33, sent an encouraging reply for Packers nation:

While the tweet may have been more sentiment than a firm service time pledge, Packers fans can still be optimistic. In 2015, Rodgers said he wants to play another 10 seasons.
The two-time NFL MVP led the league with 40 passing touchdowns in 2016.
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said in March that he believed Rodgers could play until he is at least 39 years old.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady just won the Super Bowl at age 39.
