"I think I'm on the back nine of my career," Rodgers said.
"But I'm just starting the back nine. I got to sit for three years, so I'm not maybe the typical 13-year pro."
Rodgers, 33, continued to talk about the length of his career and referenced his improved preparation.
"I see the end... and I want to keep that off in the distance a little bit," he said.
Rodgers did not cop to how many years he thinks he has left in his career, but he did give one answer that should excite Packers fans.
"I'd like to finish my career in Green Bay... and I'd like to get us another seven or eight or nine or ten [years] together and hopefully win a couple more championships."
Rodgers led the NFL with 40 touchdown passes in 2016.
