Blasphemy?

Wisconsinites live and die for their cheese almost as much as they live and die for their Packers, but fans will have to live with the fact that their favorite quarterback has decided to forgo all forms of the state's favorite food.

According to ESPN.com, Aaron Rodgers has eliminated dairy from his diet, a nutrition plan that's allowed him to drop down to a svelte 218 pounds -- the lightest he's been since 2007.

That's right -- no gouda -- no cheddar -- no curds.

Rodgers says he started a new vegan-oriented regime after undergoing knee surgery in January, but still finds room for red meat and chicken occasionally.

He told ESPN it's all about extending his career and feeling healthier.

If cutting the cheese leads to a healthier QB and a couple more wins this season, we're pretty sure Packers fans will give Rodgers a pass on this one.
