The Cudahy girls basketball team proved triumphant over the Hortonville girls Friday in the Division 2 State semifinals 46-36.
Shay Frederick scored 12 points to lead the Polar Bears in a losing effort, Morgan Allen added 10. Though it ended in a loss this was a successful season for Hortonville, this is the first time in 30 years the school has advanced to the state tournament.
