The Catholic Memorial Crusaders have given Coach Bill Young a state title in his 39th year as coach.
Catholic Memorial defeated Notre Dame 24-14 to avenge a loss in last year's title game with a victory in this year's Division 3 title tilt at Camp Randall Stadium Friday morning.
Jaylen Campbell started CMH off with a 70-yard touchdown run on their first possession, and Memorial never looked back.
