Five Northeast Wisconsin teams are now one win away from the WIAA state basketball tournament.
Kimberly, Hortonville, Notre Dame, Freedom and Mishicot each notched wins on Thursday night. Those teams will now play Saturday in the WIAA sectional final round.
The WIAA state tournament begins next Thursday. Divisions 1 and 3 will play at Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh; Divisions 2, 4 and 5 will play at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse.
