Notre Dame and Mishicot qualified for next weekend's WIAA girls state basketball tournament with sectional final wins on Saturday afternoon.
Both teams will compete in La Crosse next weekend. Mishicot will play in the Division 4 semifinals/finals on Friday while Notre Dame will compete in the Division 2 semifinals/finals on Saturday.
The Tritons are making their first appearance at the state tournament since 2016. Mishicot will get a second chance at a gold ball after losing in the state semifinals last season, before the tournament was canceled because of the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kimberly, Hortonville and Freedom each lost their sectional final games on Saturday.
