It's Week 8 of the high school football season and there's still so much up for grabs, especially in the North Eastern Conference. Luxemburg-Casco and Wrightstown go head-to-head Friday in our NBC26 Friday Night Blitz Game of the Week.

Wrightstown is in first place in the conference at 6-1, but four teams are right behind the Tigers, including 5-2 Luxemburg-Casco.

Look for Wrightstown to utilize the ground game against the Spartans as they've done all season. Senior Braydon Smith averages over 100 yards per game. As a team, the Tigers have rushed for over 2,000 yards with 24 touchdowns.

However, the Spartans will try to stop them in their tracks. Luxemburg-Casco has been impressive in its last two wins. The Spartans scored 22 unanswered points to come back and shock Freedom in Week 6.

The Spartans then beat Clintonville in Week 7 thanks in part to receiver Anthony Otradovac. He played his first game of the year and found the endzone twice: once on a 73-yard pass and again on a 62-yard punt return.

The Spartans can clinch at least a share of the conference with a win Friday, but they'll have to beat the Tigers on the road.
